Hatchery Technician

Kona Blue is currently seeking hatchery technicians.

General duties include, but are not limited to, live feeds production, larval rearing, broodstock husbandry, nursery fish husbandry and general systems maintenance. Candidates must be able to work in a hot, humid environment and be able to consistently lift over 50 lbs.

Ideal candidates have graduated with a post secondary aquaculture, sciences, or related degree from a recognized institution, and have over two years of industry experience in a finfish hatchery environment, preferably dealing with marine warm-water species. This knowledge and experience, in combination with excellent interpersonal and team-building skills, would allow candidates to develop their role and enhance their responsibilities within Kona Blue.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
